Mental Mermaid
Let me invite you, yes simply entice you,
To swim the depths of my mental ocean,
Let the under currents of your mind waver,
To and fro as we float along as drift wood,
Let us dive deeply downward towards peace,
The calm, what lies beneath the coral reef,
Tucked safely away from the sharks teeth,
Our gills will form as we evolve to breathe,
Adjust, the cold, dark, calm world below,
Let’s ride on a strong, forceful undertow,
Backstroke across its tidal waving tsunami,
Surf’s up honey!
Let’s sail slowly… quietly,
Don’t wake the fish, or scare them away,
Let’s watch them while we dip and play,
Vulnerable to the water’s cool tiding flow,
Our bodies play, unite in current’s row,
Most minds are puddles, others ponds,
Nothing shallow about this trip we’re on,
Creative waters, oceans and seas so vast,
Feeding rivers, white rushing spirits pasts,
Towards the force of Niagara’s misty falls,
Come away with me…
… to my subterranean psychological…
